The class-12 science stream exam was held in the month of March. Gujarat Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Gandhinagar press release states that Results of the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination Class-12 (Science Stream) and GUJCET- 2023 held in March-2023 at Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board website www.gseb.org Will be announced on 2 May 2023 at 9.00 AM. Students for medical are almost twice as many as for engineering
According to the statistics released by the Gujarat Education Board, there has been a steady increase in the number of B group students compared to the A group in class 12 Sanyas for the last few years. There is a steady decline in the number of students taking admission in engineering after 12th science. This year there are only 40,414 students in the A group among the current year’s regular students in Class 12 Science. Which has decreased from the previous year. While the B group has 69,936 students this year. AB group has 32 students.
There are 45 percent more students in the B group than A. In
the current year, A, B, and AB groups have a total of 11,0382 students. There are 16,395 repeaters who re-sit this year in 12th science. There are 4438 students in the A group, 11948 in the B group, and 9 students in the AB group. This year, there are 81,884 students of Group B against the total of 44,852 students of Group 12 who appeared for the Science exam, that is, 45 percent more students of Group B than Group A.
Class 10-12 examination held in the month of March
From the 14th of March, the Gujarat Education Board conducted the class 10 and 12 examinations. Around 16.55 lakh students were registered in class 10-12 board exam this year. However, when it comes to students of class 12, the number of students in the medical stream is more than in engineering. This year the exam was conducted in 56633 blocks in 5541 buildings in 1623 centers in 83 zones of the state.
83 zones were decided in Class 10.
According to the action plan of the Gujarat Education Board, 83 zones were decided in Class 10. There were 958 total examination centers. In which the exam was conducted in 31,816 classroom blocks in 3127 buildings. In class 10 this year regular 74,1337, private regular 11,258, repeater 16,5576, private repeater 5472, number of boys 53,82,230, and number of girls 41,8523. While 56 zones have been decided in the 12th normal flow. In which the examination was conducted in 18,389 blocks in 1833 buildings in 525 centers.
